Hi, readers today we will learn about different types of library cards and required material that can enhance your library level. Some people think is it really required? I can say yes, because if you use such things then you realize the difference between having and not having. When school committees visit your library at that time they surely ask about such things. But this is not required for school committee purpose but for our daily work which makes our library great.

Library Card:-

If you design the library card in such a way that can be used for 2 or 3 years. it means you are saving paper and your time also. Every library user needed a library card. On that card, he issues the book and when returning back the book at that time we gave back that library card. On this card student's name, Photo, standard, When he issued the card these details we can find on this card.

Library Book Card:-

Every Book having one card on that card we can mention the title of the book, Author of the Book, Price of the book, and Classification Number. When the reader issues any book at that time we mention the date of issue and issuing person name on this library book card. From this card, we can get information about how many times the users issued this book.

Book Card Pocket:-

A Book card pocket is also important for a book. When the book inside the library at that time we put the library book card in Book's pocket. It means the library book pocket holds the library book card. The book pocket should have a cross-cut because when you put a book card at that time it goes easily inside the pocket.

Book Return Sleep:-

On the last page of the book, you can stick to the library book return to sleep. This sleep use for putting a stamp of the return date. So Reader can easily understand when he supposed to return the book. Universally we are putting seven days after the returned stamp on book return sleep.

Magazine/Periodicals/Journals Cardex Index:-

Hello, friends in this article we will see which stamps required in the library. Beginners can enhance their knowledge by reading this article. In a Simple way, we will learn the fundamental things related to stamps. In Library first, we needed Librarian Stamp; second, we needed round Seal/stamp of the library, Third we needed Approved vendor & Date Stamp, Forth we needed Date stamp, fifth one Accession numbering stamp, & finally sixth one Reference Book Stamp.

So one by one we see the library stamp name and their use.

Librarian Stamp:-

Friends when you circulate the letter from the office at that time you needed the authority to sign that letter. so if the letter goes from the library so you needed a librarian sign and below the sign, you should have a librarian stamp. So the Librarian sign wherever that place you should need a librarian stamp.

Where do I get a book stamp? Thing which really required in library that is Library Stamps

Rounded seal/stamp of Library:-

This stamp is very important according to the library functions. On every book this stamp needed. Through this stamp, you can identify your library book. On every document of the library, this stamp is used. If you go through the count of stamps this rounded seal is the most used seal you will find. On Document, On Book, On Magazine, On news Papers & on the library card we use this stamp.

Approved vendor & Date Stamp:-

This stamp also uses in the library for the purpose of book history. every book should have this stamp because through this stamp you can able to say the book history. For example, approved – who given permission for purchasing this book that person's name will come over there. at that place, the principal name will come. Next to the vendor- where you can mention the name of the vendor from whom you bought this book. And the next one is the date – you can mention the date hereof when you purchased this book.

Date Stamp:-

In Library this stamp is called a daily use stamp because when the reader issues the book at that time you need to mention the return date. so through this stamp, you can mention the date return on book return sleep. even On Student & Staff Library entry register you need to mention the everyday dates. so we are using this stamp for that purpose also.

Accession numbering stamp:-

When you process the book at that time we giving every book a unique number so every time we need not change the serial so. With This stamp, we can give the serial wise number to every book. We can set in this stamp how many times we needed the same number for example 3322 this number is given to one book but we need to mention this number on the book four-time so if you set four-time then after four-time use it will going to change to 3323.

Reference Book Stamp:-

This stamp generally uses for a reference book. When we keeping the books in the reference section at that time we need to mention this stamp on the book and book card so readers easily understand this book is not for issue.
